Like we reported earlier, a student of Anambra State University last night (around 9pm) was shot dead by what was termed to be an accidental discharge by one of security group in town.
Well certainly the last hasn’t been heard about the incidence as early this morning students have taken to the streets to stage a not-so-peaceful protest in school. During the course of the protest, cars of the security office were burnt down, movement was restricted (road blocks) and chantings of disgruntled students filled the atmosphere.
We at AnsuEncore will also like to use this medium to appeal to friends, loved ones of the deceased and students in general to make all protest as peaceful as possible.
