How D’banj’s producer introduced me to music’ – L.A.X

Fast rising singer L.A.X who is currently signed on the Wizkid -led Starboy Records, has revealed that music for him began as a fluke.

According to the ‘Ginger’ singer, ‘for me, music started as a fluke, I never planned it. One day my friend, who was an artiste was going to record in a studio, and his car broke down so he called me to pick him up.

So we got to the studio and I was just vibing, this was around 2008, so he just told me to try my voice out and the next day the guy called me up and said I had a distinct voice and he encouraged me to push further, so I used to go to his studio everyday and he used to teach me.’

‘The producer’s name is Deevee and he’s actually D’banj’s producer at DB records now. So I worked with him for about two years and that was how it all started.’‎
