This might sound unnecessary to many of us especially with the norm of Nigeria political sentiments that based mainly on what they always regard as experience. To me experience isn't all about age, it's not all about how long you have been in the system. But because of our myopic nature of our reasoning we've and will always throwaway the meaning of that slogan "The future leaders" .
Basically it's mainly in africa that we can still see many Leaders who have been in power for almost halves of their lives who are between 75 to 90 years of age still managing the affairs of a country. And yet they still have the guts to tell us that we are the future leaders. I disagree.
Never blame them ( the old power mongers) too because what pains me much is the rate at which our youths exchange their bright future just for a mere short enjoyment they will benefit from the old men of power. These days youths prefer clubbing, drugs, partying and social medianism (self vocab) to learning.
Until we spend less time on all these social media platforms, drugs, clubbing and all sorts of indiscipline behaviour then we will know that the future is our birthright .
I still believe that this our age still have a lot to offer to this country for a true Change. The country really needs youthful government not some old parasites. We need this incoming administration to at least appoint more youths as ministers, commissioners, Personal advisers for proper apprenticeship in the political field.
The Youths are really the LEADERS OF TOMORROW!!
